DANIEL GRAND

Daniel Grand studied MA in Fashion Photography at the University of the Arts London (London College of Fashion). Daniel’s graduation project ‘Dancer’s Diary: Performers in Confinement’ was shortlisted as TOP-15 UK Photography projects by VICE Magazine.

Based in New York and available for projects worldwide, Daniel Grand has collaborated with renowned clients like the British Fashion Council, Dior, Leica, London Fashion Week, Vogue Italia, and VICE, among others.

Grand's artistry is inspired by the iconic black-and-white visuals of the 20th century.
His work is a testament to the elegant and expressive potential of the human body, exploring themes of movement, self-expression, memory, and nostalgia.
Infused with a subtle touch of dark romanticism, eroticism, and retro-chic, Daniel’s photography practice creates a unique visual language through careful curation of vintage references.

A passionate advocate for the performing arts, Daniel is committed to documenting the talents of both established and emerging artists. His collaborations span a wide range of disciplines, bringing exposure to ballet dancers, actors, musicians, and other performing artists. This unique approach not only captures the beauty and the grotesque of performers but also serves as a symbolic journey through their artistic evolution.

Beyond his photography expertise, Daniel has a strong background in fashion styling, contributing to Harper’s Bazaar Russia since 2015.
